It's the End of the World... Again!

"We saved the world, I say we party!"

Overall there's been 8 times where some evil force has tried to destroy the world and every time Buffy and the Scooby Gang put a stop to it!

Apocalypse No. 1
Series 1 Ep. 2 "The Harvest"

Buffy: "So Giles, got anything that can make this day any worse?
Giles: How about the end of the world?
Buffy: Knew I could count on you."

Welcome to the Hellmouth! When Buffy moves to Sunnydale already it's gonna be the end of the world! Luke the Master's apprentice is sent to the bronze where he feeds on enough people which would open the portal and set the Master free so he could destroy the world. But with the new slayer in town Luke and the Master's plans are ruined!

Series 1 Ep. 12 "Prophecy Girl"

(After killing Buffy!)


The Master tried to destroy the world by first killing Buffy (which he succeded in!!)
then opening the Hellmouth so that the demons and forces of darkness would take over and rule the world! But Buffy still alive and really pissed off she put a stop to his evil plan by pushing him through a glass window where he was impaled on a piece of wood!

Series 2 Ep. 22 Becoming

Angel: "I don't have time for you!
Buffy: You don't have a lot of time left!"


Angelus after turning evil decided to destoy the world by raising the demon Acathla so it would suck the world into hell!
But yet again Buffy stopped it from happening after a big battle with her ex- lover, Willow managed to restore Angel's soul just before the world was going to be sucked into hell! The only way the portal to hell would be closed was Angel's blood! So Buffy kissed her afraid and confused boyf and killed him saving the world but at a terrible loss!

Series 3 Ep. 13 "The Zeppo"

A bunch of She- Demons try to open the Hellmouth, while Xander raises havoc around Sunnydale with some zombies. Buffy, Faith, Giles and Willow fight the Hellmouth spawn, while Xander stops a bomb from exploding underneath the school and the hellmouth! The demons are destroyed and the Hellmouth is closed.

Apocalypse No. 5
Series 3 Ep. 22 "Graduation Day"


Buffy: "Faith told me that he had a human weakness."
Willow: Was that before or after you put her in a coma?
Buffy: After.
Willow: Huh?"



After stabbing Faith and her jumping off a building, Buffy goes to a weakened Angel, and makes him feed off of her to save himself. Soon later well again Buffy is ready for war, and goes into battle with the mayor. She kills him by leading him in to the school and then exploding it using dynamite. And yet again the world is saved by Buffy and the Scooby Gang and the Earth is no longer about to be eaten up by a big snake demon!

Apocalypse No. 6
Series 5 Ep. 22 "The Gift"

Glory: "The Slayer's a robot!
Did anyone else know the slayer's a robot?!
Buffy: Glory (hits her in the face with a huge hammer.) You're not the brightest god in the heavens are you!"


Probably one of the best ever epsisodes "The Gift" shows the excellent Series 5 finale and the most saddest endings ever!! Glory sets up her evil plan to kill Dawn and bring hell on Earth but Buffy and the gang manage to stop her. Willow saves Tara from her mental state, Anya is badly injured, Spike trys to protect Dawn but fails and is thrown off the tower! Also Giles manages to kill Glory when she changes into Ben. But worst of all- Glory's worshipper Doc cuts Dawn and opens the portal! To save Dawn Buffy jumps and sacrafices herself to save her sister and the world! The slayer is dead...

Apocalypse No. 7
Series 6 Ep. 22 "Grave"


Willow: "You're always saving people! It's getting kind of pesky!"
After the amazing battle against Buffy and Willow in "Two to Go", Willow finds Anya chanting the protection spell on Buffy then knocks her out, with full use of her magic again Willow shoots Buffy across the room, then Giles returns with borrowed magic and faces off Willow giving Buffy time to stop a giant fireball killing Dawn, Xander, Jonathan and Andrew. Willow takes Giles' magic and has a link to everyone in the world. After havung too much emotion and suffering, she says the world has to end stop suffering. She raises a temple on King Man's Bluff and tries to use a demons ephigy to burn the world to a cinder. No slayer or supernatural being can stop her- so Xander goes to take her on! Buffy and Dawn fight off demons in an underground hole finding out Dawn can kick butt! Xander tells Willow he loves her and soon later she breaks down into Xander's arms crying- the threat of the world ending was then over!

Apocalypse No. 8
Series 7 Ep. 120 "End of Days"

Caleb & the First. Ubervamps kills off some potentials but the good side has 2 slayers & a powerful witch plus a sythe that is one of a kind. Buffy kills Caleb with the Sythe and Spike watches the first is still around but has no form ecept corporial as Buffy. Faith leads the Slayers, but Willow uses the Sythe to give all the potential slayers their powers right off the bat around the world. Spike uses the amulet to shatter sunlight & kills the hellmouth of Ubervamps. Anya dies, Xander looses an eye, Dawn finally gets to fight in an official battle and Sunnydale is swallowed up and the surviving Buffy & friends are left out on the outskirt of town with a bus. Goodbye Sunnydale! May the Scooby Gang have their vacation & maybe they will go to Disneyland.
